Play Ball!

Look, I'm not a baseball fan.

At all.

But the same teachers that I went to the Golden Gloves boxing match with last week talked me into joining the faculty softball team. I'm HORRIBLE at softball. The closest thing to that I play is kickball. In fact, I kick ass at kickball. I lack the hand-eye coordination for softball. I can catch. I can't bat. I suck at batting. I can run bases though. I played soccer, therefore I have foot-eye coordination. This will be interesting. And also a lot of fun. I will now stop with the choppy sentences.

They signed me up today, and then I realized I don't have a glove. Well, I do, but I got it in 3rd grade. It's a little small. I hit up Dick's Sporting Goods tonight, and picked up a new one. It cost me a little more than I planned, but it will hopefully last me the rest of my life. I also picked up a ball and some oil, so I can break it in. And I think my cat approves :)
