A couple jobs opened in a posh school district on the other side of town. They're available immediately. Should I? I mean part of me feels bad about leaving the school I'm at now after only a month. As the kids say, this school that has the openings is tight.
I'm sitting here updating my resume, and I'm wondering if I should put my current job on there. I can only think of 2 things I do. (depending on the day) Teach choir and teach general music. Both of which can go on the same description line. And would it look bad with them knowing that I was only there a month? Thoughts please.
A posh job would be nice. Oh and the jobs are for band. Also a plus. I'm not such a fan of this choir thing.

You know that I support whatever you decide to do. I think you should stick it out to the end of the year, but if the opening is right, you'd just be returning the kids to where they were before.
As long as you're not running away, of course. You're not allowed to run.
Hmmmm, that's a tough one. I would feel bad leaving the kids after only one month but then again, the other job is teaching band and you don't always sound too happy where you're at right now....
If the band job at your school is open next year, consider the commute and stay. Tell White that you're teaching band next year, and it's up to him as to where. :p
It can't hurt to apply. It doesn't necessarily mean you have to take the job, even if it's offered to you.
