Saying Good Bye to a Friend

My parents had to put Oz to sleep today. They've been force feeding him for close to 2 weeks, and this morning he couldn't keep food down, even with his nausea medicine. When that happened, they decided it was time.

Yes, I'm bawling my eyes out right now. He was a good friend. And probably the coolest cat ever. He was not only my friend, by a friend to everyone who walked in the door. You sat on the couch, he was in your lap. He took naps with you. Long short, laying down, sitting up. It didn't matter. He liked to go outside and roll in the dirt. Just so you had to brush him when he came back inside. His long hair wasn't so fun, but it made Oz who he was. He was the best lap warmer. All 15 pounds of him. Chief is going to miss him as much as we are. Who is going to start fights with him now?

That being said. Oz is in a better place. He's with Daffy, and I hope he found a big 'ol basket to curl up in. RIP buddy.
