I'm not talking about kids here.
I'm talking about animals. I've been meaning to make this post since I got my cat, but just haven't gotten around to it.
Every cat or dog my family has gotten has been adopted. For some reason, there's something about them that gives them this special personality, something that reminds them that they know what it's like to not be wanted, and in some way be it the weird quirks or personality, or better yet, undying friendship and bond they have with you. I guess it's their way of saying "hey thanks man, my life used to suck." I saw this mostly with Oz and Chief, and more recently my cat Bagpipes. I've posted enough about Chiefman, and the late Ozmeister, but my cat, well, she's annoying as hell. But you know, I think it's her way of reminding me "hey...hey...hey...I'm still here!" My assumption was there was a lack of attention at her previous house. Not that I'm much better, I'm hardly ever here. But it's funny the way she never really sits in my lap except for here at the computer, but when she does, watch out. It's all kinds of hand-pushing, leg kneading, how hairy can I make Ash laptime. It's cute, in an annoying kind of way.
And now I must sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a long day, and I'm going to get sunburned in the process. I guess being outside without shade from 8am to 8pm will do that. I'll be planting some flowers and painting and pulling weeds. I bought some waters and snacks to maybe keep the kids from complaining too much. Then after school, we have a double header softball game. Needless to say, Wednesday is gonna suck xtreem like.
That means I'm going to go to bed a little early tonight...like...now :p
