Almost Thanksgiving

It's almost Thanksgiving break time. YAY!!!

Sadly that means things at school are getting pretty crazy. For the first year ever I have 6 kids going to the Jr. High Solo and Ensemble Contest, so we've been getting ready for that. It's amazing the motivation that some of these kids have. I even have kids in beginning band that are practicing solos, unfortunately I don't think theirs will be ready by Nov. 29th, but they've been working hard, and they may participate in the Spring Contest. At the very least, I'll let them play at a concert.

Things here at home are pretty crazy. Business trips, job issues, car issues, it all seems to come at once. Can't the newlyweds catch a break?

Also, if you want to come to Grand Nationals, or will be here on Thursday with 'Boro, let me know, and I'll meet up with you and might let you crash here for the weekend. I know for sure that BFF is coming and the other BFF needs to get 2 months youger so she can still fly free. Stupid age limits.

Other than that, nothing else is new. I miss everyone in the 'Boro. I don't really have any friends here :(
