For those of you who don't know, Thanksgiving weekend I'm going to Chicago to see the Chicago Symphony. The whole reason is that John Williams (the dude that composed the music for Star Wars and all of Spielberg's films) is conducting the symphony. Now we all know that John Williams LOVES the horn (and we love him!). In fact he loves the horn so much that he decided that he wanted to write a Horn Concerto. Now I will hand out a drool bucket for all the horn players reading this :) So Saturday, Nov. 29 is the World Premiere of the Concerto directed by John Williams and being played by Dale Clevenger and the CSO! W00T! On top of that, they will play some of the pieces from the film scores he's composed! Ok, now that the music g33k in me has shown through, I'll stop, and get my own drool bucket :)

Music for the Day: Any soundtrack by John Williams, even though you can recognize anything he composes because it starts to all sound the same after awhile :)
