It's the Hap-Hap-Happiest Day of My Life!

IT'S DONE!!!! With 177 pages of notes, and 65 hours of labor in 5 days, my music history notebook is complete. Eh, what am I talking about, it's only 2 inches thick. I finished it at 3am last night and turned it in today at 11:30am. The above stated notebook is the reason for my lack of posting. My poor printer, I'm surprised it didn't die on me. It printed all 177 pages of those notes. Of course, it is one of the best printers that isn't crazy expensive. And it's great for printing pictures, as I have found out for one of my recent "projects." I <3 my printer :) MVG gets a hearty handshake for providing the paper :)

I did have a crappy lesson today, but I don't care. 1.) I have slept less than 10 hours the past 3 nights without naps throughout the day. 2.) I haven't even thought of practicing since my last lesson due to the above stated notebook.
I know those are all excuses, but they are logical. They are all true and affect the sounds that come out of my horn.

Oh, and for those of you who don't know I turned 21 on Sat. But There was no partying involved unless you count working on the above stated notebook a party. I think the notebook is more like the morning after hangover. There are people saying that they are going to burn the notebook when they get it back. I'm one of the few that aren't. My reasons are as follows:
1.) This is a notebook that could actually come in handy some day. All music majors HAVE to go to Grad school and there is a music history placement test.
2.) Plain and simple, I put too much work into it to watch it go up in flames in a field somewhere in Wood County or Clearcreek Township. This is only notebook in my life that will not be taken apart and thrown away like all the other notebooks that I have put together in <1 hour.

Ohhh...2 reasons. That's a mighty long list...It's time to waste time for the first time in a week!
