Goodbye Friend :(

Wednesday there was a tragic death on campus that severely hurt the campus community. The albino squirrel was killed in a hit and run accident. His friend the gray squirrel was found dead next to him. It appears they were playing together when they ran into the street at the wrong time. The albino squirrel kept me entertained in history class. His entertainment will be greatly missed :(

On a different note, I am flying to Washington DC on Friday to visit the Boyfriend over fall break. While looking for plane tickets online, i found a few interesting things. Toledo is the closest airport (30 min.)with Detroit being next (45-60 min), then Dayton (which my parents could then drop me off and pick me up at the airport) (1.5hrs), then Cincinnati (3hrs, 1.5 from parents), all are within a three hour drive. Obviously Toledo would be the prime choice, alas there are a few hitches. To fly from Toledo requires a layover in either Detroit, Dayton, or Cincinnati. Hmmm....i don't wanna fly to a place i go to/live in and spend more time on the runway waiting to take off than i will in the air when i could drive to said location. I know, there's also Cleveland, but that requires layovers in Detroit or Chicago (the opposite way i want to go) Also, the flight with layovers are the most expensive. Airlines make no sense. I decided that Detroit would be the best choice.
