Blues Shades and Symphonies

The Reading Clinic is over! (Thank God) Everything ran smoothly unil Mother Nature threw a wrench in the works causing us to cancel today. Sadly the high school kids didn't get to play their concert, but they had fun anyway. The good thing is that we got all the music sorted and put away instead of letting it lay around for weeks. So even though there was a lot of lack of sleep(8 hours in 3 days), a conductor I wasn't too fond of, aske me and I'll tell, and a conductor that I fell in love with, and spending 16 hours a day at the CMA, it was fun. I even got the conductors to sign some music for me. Ticheli and Croft are both musical geniuses in different way. I learned that there is a difference betweena composer and a music educator, and how I really don't like arrogant people. With that brief overview, I believe it is NAPTIME!

"All instruments were originally horns." -Dr. James Croft
