Dropped
After almost 2 weeks of thinking about it, I dropped my first class ever. Stupid EDFI 408 - Education in a Pluralistic Society, a long way of saying "here's how to teach to different cultures" Reasons dropped, I hated the class with a passion. No I hated the teacher of the class and the shit she made us do. When you walk in and she says welcome to the hardest section of this class, good luck, its hard to tell if she is joking or not, she wasn't joking. Then she said that if we had a full load (18 hours) it would be difficult. I have 19. I was planning on sticking it through just to spite her, but then realized last week that its not worth it to my GPA to have this class cause me to do poorly in others and this one too. So to the benefit of my GPA I dropped it.
I like the class, the discussions were interesting, but she required us to speak at least 3 times a class or she was docking points. Most of the time, I like to listen and not really state my opinion (or lack there of). I was learning a lot from the discussions, but not a fan of the critical thinking aspect. I'm not used to critical thinking. Then there's the project that's due tomorrow that the other classes have due in April. We also have 3 other projects due throughout the semester. All of them have incredibly vague instructions, even thought the syllabus for the class is 17 pages long. And she makes us use APA format for the papers we have due every week. NO ONE HERE USES APA FORMAT! I have never used it in my entire life. It's all busy work, and I was fed up with it, so I'm taking it in the summer. Go Go 4 classes in 6 weeks! That's gonna be hell :)
Also I still don't have my solo from Stanton's yet. Apparently they goofed and put 'Boro and BG in the city line, creating a new city, and causing it to get returned to them. I called them today and it got shipped today and should arrive here tomorrow. Hindemith.....should be interesting. I better like the solo for the hell its putting me through.
