Is it the Fourth?

It doesn't feel like the 4th of July at all. I won't be taking part in any barbecues today, and the place where I work is still open, and I have to work. The place will be dead, but I guess I can get paid to shoot the shit with co-workers.

In fact, I have spent the majority of the day making hot and sour soup. I got a craving for it and decided that I didn't want to order it from a Chinese place, but make it instead. It must say it is mighty tasty. I guess there's nothing like spending an American holidayeating Chinese food and working at a Mexican restaurant. Woo!
