I PASSED MY JURY!!!

So I think you should come to my recital. Actually I want you to come to my recital. I get to play the horn all by myself on a stage with a piano player. And there's a cool brass quintet piece that you want to hear too. Along with the usual Mozart, Franz Strauss and Malcolm Arnold. I know you want to be there!

November 5th 2005 in Bryan Recital Hall in the College of Musical Arts at BGSU. Even if you have to drive awhile you should be there, there will most likely be entertainment in the form of local BG nightlife for you to partake in afterwards :p

You don't have to tell me if you will be there or not, just....BE THERE!

Ok, now that I'm off my soapbox, I'm freakin' glad I passed. I would also like to congratulate Superfly for being the first person in the studio ever to pass on the first try. And also hats off to Sludwig for passing today too :) We're celebrating tonight in a big way.

It's odd that this is the second to last hurdle to graduation. I'm not even worried about the actual recital. I just didn't want not passing the jury to push me back another semester. This and student teaching will be my last big things going on until May. Passing seriously took a huge weight off my shoulders, then they got weighed down again when I remembered that I have to write a piece for beginning band and play scavenger hunt for the Holst 2nd Suite in F by Tuesday. And with that, I'm off to get ready to go to a haunted house, the to the bars.

Also another thing. For Halloween this year it's down to 2 things and I can't decide. The Black Knight from the Holy Grail or a Whoopie Cushion?
