It's Over
This weekend went way too fast, but it was a good one. I would like another one starting tomorrow.
Fri. I did the class thing, then picked up the better half at the aeroport. We then got some food and came back here and crashed fairly early.
Saturday was my recital. It went well, despite me missing a page of music. I wasn't too super nervous, all though I did almost start freaking and crying when it was just Nagi and I in the Green Room. Honestly, at the beginning of the semester and even last year, the thought of Nagi being here for my recital made me the most nervous. I don't know why. I'm weird. Now I'm super-glad he was here. He kept me from freaking out in the Green Room. Which now I will admit, I was pretty nervous.
I survived, and it still really hasn't hit that my recital is done. It feels like I did it a month ago. This is the beginning of the home stretch. I have 3 huge projects due in the next couple weeks, but now that I don't have to practice as much, I have some extra time to work on those. It's still discomforting not knowing where I'll be this time next year.
Bonus to this weekend being over: I get to play the trombone with my 5th graders now.
UnBonus to this weekend being over: My bed is cold, and I have no one to snuggle with and smoke cigars with and talk about games with. Hopefully these next 3 weeks or so will go quick :P
