I Know What I'm Getting for Christmas...
My Mom took me shopping for all my Christmas presents today, that pretty much included spiffy clothes. I even had to help my Mom wrap one of MY OWN PRESENTS! The best part was the birthday present I got, because my parents didn't get me one, not knowing what I wanted. The worst part? I don't have it in my possession yet, due to getting it sized from a 7 to a 9, so it will fit the proper finger because I have not skinny fingers :p The 7 doesn't even fit my pinkie! I get to pick it up on Friday though, so that adds another reason for this week to go faster :) It also took my mom FOREVER to figure out that yellow gold=bad. Well, to me it does anyway.
We also took in some of my other jewelry to get a fixin' seeing that the bracelet Nagi got me 6 years ago (whoa!) lost a stone about 3 years ago, so I get to pick that up after New Years! Yay! I missed wearing that! And my cross necklace I got for my 18th birthday from my Mom, that has a hole for I think the worlds tiniest chain, I broke the chain 6 months after I got it, and we're just now getting around to looking for a new one, mostly because they're harder than hell to find.
Can you tell I'm not very nice to jewelry?
All this was my Mom's idea, mostly because she lost ANOTHER one of the rings she inherited from my great aunt, only this time it was the big one. A 1.02 carat colorless, flawless diamond with an 8mm gold band, so she was looking to get it remade with the $6000 check from the insurance company. They let us look at the diamonds under the microscope thingy. It was fun, since that was the first time I had ever done it :) She hasn't gotten it remade yet, because she's being so incredibly picky about the diamond, but rightly so! Woo for shiny things stores!

You need to talk to Nagi about getting one of those for the other hand. :)

Mother,
I'll let you talk to him and take the wrath and fury one gets when that subject comes up :p
I'm man enough not to be afraid of him.
