Warm Summer Sun....

It's official. I'm going to Orlando FL during Spring Break with the WHS band. I so totally can't wait. It will be warm and sunny and there's a huge pool at our hotel with a water slide and waterfall.

The part I dread....the bus ride down there. I don't sleep on bus rides or car rides at all. Even if it's an 18 hour trip. That always makes for a wonderful way to start a 'vacation.' I love that feeling pulling up to the first theme park without stopping at the hotel first, or in my case without sleeping the previous night. That makes for a happy Ash, only not.

Back to a happy note, the kids are fun and it should be a fun time had by all. I haven't been to Florida since I went with the band my junior year of high school. It will also be nice to have a spring break that is at a normal time of year. The other bad part is that I won't get to see the better half during that time either. So there is the potential that I will have to go from Feb. to May without seeing him, though I will do everything in my power to have that not happen.
