All Done!

I feel that this week was a good week teaching-wise. Things just went well in general. I did hit some "teaching milestones"

-Caught my first student with gum (a high school trumpet player)
-Took my first student to the dean's office (for flinging rubber bands at other students and the teacher (not me))
-Experienced my first "Lock Down" drill.
-Played through the piece I'm conducting on the concert, from beginning to end for the first time.

After my post on Monday, things have gotten better. My cooperating teacher and I are also getting along better now. I think she's still trying to remember I'm a n00b, I'm gonna make mistakes and not notice some things :p Before, I felt a lot of pressure from her to be perfect, she even told me one day that she thinks I'm not taking student teaching seriously. Pssh, whatever. I think all of that is resolved. 8 weeks until I'm done.

And for the title of this post, I think my resume is finally finished. That means that now I REALLY have to SERIOUSLY start looking for a jorb. I think that's what tomorrow morning before work is for. Thankfully, a lot of school districts have online applications where you just attach a resume. (and sometimes a cover letter ><)

Also, on an unrelated note, kudos to Panera Bread for their free interwebs. It's a nice way to burn the hour between school and work on Fridays, especially since I can't hook up my computer to the interwebs at school.
