House

I broke down and purchased season 1 of House today. It's quite possibly one of the best shows on TV. Tuesday nights are great, especially because it goes House, then SVU. It doesn't get much better than that. Also, the season finale on Tuesday is going to be most excellent. Something about House getting shot.

Also, the jorb interview was interesting. There were some questions that I fumbled on, and some that I nailed. After talking to the director and finding out why she was leaving made me question whether or not I want the job. Yes, it's in Indiana. That's about the only good thing. I found out there's a lot of baggage to go along with it that quite frankly, I don't want to deal with my first year. It will be asking for burn-out. The booster are out of control and stealing money and trying to take over the program, there are only 33 kids in the band, and they have had 4 directors in 3 years. Yeah, I wanna be gung ho and go in there and turn things around, but is it really worth my sanity? Especially if I'm not going to be there long?
