Been Busy

It's been a busy past 2 days. I have a job, not one using my degree, but it's a source of income nonetheless. So I start that tomorrow, from 6:30 to 3pm. I'd complain about the hours, but that's what I'll be doing if I'm teaching, so I better get used to it. I'll also start working with the band here in a couple weeks, and I get to stay through the whole season this year! Then in October or so, I'm gonna quit this job, and start subbing at the local schools. I hear it's pretty easy to keep one subbing 5 days a week, though it's rather crappy pay, it adds to ye olde resume.

That being said, I found out why I haven't gotten my teaching license, being that the people didn't send the proper paperwork for my FBI background check to the Dept of Education when they were supposed to, so now I have to get it done again. What a pain in the butt.

I also got my very first library card since I was in kindergarten. I haven't been to the library (which is down the street from my house) since I was a freshman in high school. This card though, is to the Centerville Library, yeah it's a 15 minute drive, but it's 3 times the size, with a much better selection. Also since I have frequented a public library they have added such technology as reserving books online and holding books for you via their website. Awesome.

That being said, I'm gonna hit the hay early because of this job thing, and I need to break my habit of playing WoW until the wee hours of teh morning.
