So this past weekend I went to Gimp's for her graduation party. Sunday we went to the Cleveland zoo. The zoo had an exhibit where you could pet reef sharks and rays. That was pretty cool.

I got home Sunday evening and found out that my brother finally bought a tube for his boat. Dick's is having a HUGE sale on boating equipment. I bought a life jacket to use with said tube for $50. It was originally $100. My brother got the tube for $30. It was a good deal. This weekend we're taking the boat out, so if you wanna go, let me know.

Monday was the first day of band camp. It's going pretty well so far. We have pregame and the opener done, and tomorrow I get to teach the drill for the closer. It should be interesting. I'm sitting here listening to possible concert band pieces for the fall. The first day of school is August 26th. Eeep! Starting the 14th though, I have new faculty orientation.

I haven't gotten a call back from the school in Indy where I had the interview yet, so I'm guessing I didn't make the cut. Meh, oh well, it's their loss :p

That's all for now. The head director and his wife are expecting kid #2 any day now, so I've gotta be on my toes for the phone call that says "the kid's on the way, have fun by yourself for the next week...." Woo.
