Hair Pulling

I've been super busy since Saturday. That day, my Mom and I accomplished some wedding stuff. We were gone from 9am to 9pm. Things accomplished - we ordered my dress, got a veil, bought me some shoes, got me necessary undergarments for my dress so I look all curvy, booked the reception place, decided on invitations, put together an overall very subtle "theme" for the reception, found her a mother of the bride dress, and generally shopped ourselves silly while spending A LOT of money. To do? DJ, Flowers, and photographer, and some other odds and ends stuff. Turns out the wedding date is one of the most popular next year (7-7-07) so I'm booking things 6 months earlier than I really need to.

Sunday we went tubing. I got the crap slung out of me by my lovely brother. So I'm feeling it today, and tomorrow will be worse. I think my shoulders are slightly dislocated. It was fun though, and I keep discovering new bruises.

Today I got to school at 8am, and left at 10pm. You can all do the math. And I'm doing the same thing the rest of the week. Tomorrow the director's wife is having a c-section at 2pm, so I'm on my own for the next week. Including actually traveling with the kids. I'm totally in charge of the band pictures and meet the team night on Thurs. Scary. I told the kids I was leaving in October today, and the got all sad. It's gonna be rough when that time rolls around.

To Do list for tomorrow: Order drum heads, call about tshirts, email BG librarians, spend from 8am-5pm in another useless new teacher seminar. Today's was all about how to use a laptop computer. It started with here is the power button and continued with this is the 'start' button. It was painful. Turns out that I do get a school issued laptop and I have an official school address that is the first letter of my first name then my full last name (no period in between) at cjeagles.org
