Wii Wedding Jobs

This post will be more akin to something like a list, maybe random at times, but it's the quickest way to go. It will begin with a true story told in Ruke style.

I woke up this morning at 9am, and when I got in the shower at 9:05 the power went out and I don't know why. I know for sure it didn't come back on until after 2pm.

Which leads to the events of the day.

I showered in my parent's bathroom, there's a window in there, so I could see. Bored due to lack of anything electric, and not being able to stand staring at Chief all day, I called my Dad. I had stuff to email to people for substituting, copys of certificates and resume's and what not. Not having power, I called my Dad to see if I could use the email fax thing there, only to find out he had at meeting from 10-10:30. So I took Chief on a walk in the park.

I do the stuff at the office, then grabbed some lunch, and went back home. I ate it in silence, with the dog staring at me. I HAD to get out of there. What to do? I know, secure some bridemaids dresses now that I finally picked one that we all agree on. so i drive to Cincinnati to do some price checking to find out which store has it cheaper. $10 is $10 to us poor folk.

On the way down there, I notice that my brakes pulsate when I brake at high speeds. SO I call my brother and ask him what the hell is going on. Uneven rotors are the verdict, and since I was down that way, I asked if he could fix them at work. He said he wasn't busy and I could stop by after 4.

I stop in between bridal stores to get gas when my phone rings. I know you shouldn't answer your phone at the pump, but I saw the area code was 317. Knowing it was Indy, and most likely important, I answered it, and lo and behold I have an interview for an elementary music long term sub from Jan-April. Hotdog! I'm a little worried, as elementary music is not my thing, but Nagi and I might get to live in the same state!

From there I went to the car dealer to get my rotors spun and we found out that my brakes are all kids of messed up. Not dangerous bad, but annoying bad. I had uneven pads on one side, the passenger side pads were worn thinner than the driver's side, the little rods weren't moving, a bunch of little crap that took us almost 2 hours to fix. And I still didn't get new pads. I also got an oil change out of the deal. And my doors lubed, now it doens't take 2 hands and a leg to open the passenger side door.

After my adventurous day, I walked in the door at quarter til 7 and dinner was on the table. Go Mom!

And then I promptly came down with the sneezes and a sore/swollen throat. My throat started feeling funny earlier, but now it's escalated into not wanting to talk or swallow ><

That's all.
