Peace and too Quiet

So the Colts won. I guess that's my team now, though when the Bungals play they come first.

Unrelated (well, I guess it could be related if I thought about it) My apartment is too quiet. It's me and giggy pig. My previous living arrangements for well, my whole life have included a minimum of 3-4 people. My house, the dorms, the apt, then my parent's house. My thinking is that once I have something to do during the day, it won't be so hateful. I just need something in here making noise, besides giggy pig squeaks. Those are annoying. I'm gonna stop by the apartment office today and see what it takes to get a cat. Probably some paperwork saying my cat won't damage anything, and a deposit, and a monthly fee. That's why I'm not getting a dog. Dogs destroy things like carpet and furniture. Cats, when they have claws, sometimes destroy things like furniture. If I end up with cat that has claws, I really don't want to teach it to use a scratching post, but I'll have to. The furniture that's here isn't valuable, but when new furniture is probably purchased in the next year, that's when it becomes a problem.

The goals for this kitty...

-not ugly
-hopefully declawed
-not a kitten (luckily it's not kitten season yet)
-not long haired
-not too fat
-must get along with other cats
-not shy and skittery
-not chronic illness

My goal is to get in and out of the Humane Society without taking all of them.
