Gimp and Meghan came to visit me this weekend. Gimp is lucky enought to not have to drive from Cleveland. He Dad works for Continental and can fly her here free.
Friday night we went out with Nagi to Nicky Blaines, an upscale cigar bar, complete with AMAZING stuffed portabella mushrooms and martinis. Not to mention the cigar selection is to die for. It was a cool place to hang out, chat and relax.
Saturday we went to Hobby Lobby so Meghan and Gimp could decorate my apartment because I have yet to do so. They painted a pretty picture and I bought some prints and put frames on them. They also hung existing pictures I had. Then we went rock climbing. It was a blast. Except for the driving part. By that time it had decided to rain and snow and sleet and freezing rain all at the same time. Leaving this layer of slushy yuck on the ground.
All in all, a fun weekend. Now I have to decide what to teach the kids on Monday. Whee.
