Bye Bye Snow :(

Unlike most people I know, I like the snow. I like it alot. Everything is all pretty and white. I particularly like it when there are white pines (that's a kind of pine tree) covered with snow, they're SO pretty the way the branches are covered. Seeing those reminds me of the Wellbrock's GIGANTIC white pines that lined their backyard. It also reminds me of my childhood on Paw Paw Dr and playing in the snow. It was so much fun sledding with the neighbor kids on the hills that back then seemed HUGE! I remember the time we hooked sleds up to the golf cart and drove around the streets of the neighborhood. We'd always come back home, usually with the neighbor kids (meaning that there were at least 6 of us) and our parents would always have hot chocolate and a movie waiting for us. Then while we were watching the movie our parents would dry all of our clothes for us. Believe me, that was a lot of clothing! If it wasn't too dark out yet, we'd be back outside playing in it. Ahhh...the good 'ol days.....

I hate it when the snow melts. Right now it's melting because of drizzly rain crap. I hate that! It's all depressing and stuff, and wet and grosslike. The grass is even all brown and muddy. Ewww. I was walking over to the CMA (College of Musical Arts) and being the lazy person I am I walked through the grass, but I forgot I had heels on instead of my normal tennis shoes. Now, we all know that I don't own any "short" heels...

Why was I wearing heels? I know it's a rare thing, but I had to wear them for my jury today. What's a jury? I have to play my solo that I have been working on all semester in front of the entire brass faculty and they give me a grade. It's not really that big a deal. I think that I did fairly well. There were little things that came out of my horn that have never come out of my horn before. Grrrr!!! There were also parts that went better than expected. I think that I did pretty well if I consider how little I really practiced this semester. I was a major slacker. 2 exams to go.....
