Brrrr....
Yesterday it was 60 degrees outside, I came home for and hour, then by the time I left, it was snowing. Welcome to Ohio, if you don't like the weather, wait a couple hours. When I finally got my butt out of bed this morning after hitting the snooze button 5 times, I left for class at 8am after borrowing a coat from a roommate because I'm stupid and i left both of mine at home in 'Boro. When i got out to my car I made a thrilling discovery that while there wasn't a bit or snow or ice on my car, all 4 doors were frozen shut. YAY for station wagons! I, like Dave, opened up the back hatch and crawled through the car into the front seat. That was definitely NOT the first time I've done that this year. I will say that I don't fit through the seats like I used to :) Even then, it took a ramming with the shoulder to open the drivers door so i could get out and close the back hatch. Upon returning to my seated position in the drivers seat, I tried closing my door, only to find that the latch had gotten stuck or something because it wouldn't close, it would bounce right back open. I thought to myself, good thing the brother is coming up tomorrow, he can fix it. I then began wondering how I was going to get to class with a door that wouldn't close, because I sure as hell wasn't going to hold it, so I pulled it as closed as it would go and locked it. That held it until I got to campus, then I thought, "what if it won't close, my car will be wide open in the parking lot" Luckily the latch warmed up or something because it closed when I got out of the car.
And then I found $5.....
And my brother is coming up with his friend tomorrow! Woo visitors!
