A Better Post Than the Last...Maybe...

So I'm back in the good 'ol BG and just realized that I honestly really don't like it here. Maybe it's the cold wind, maybe it's the clutter and small apartment, maybe it's the fact that everything cool, fun and entertaining I have doesn't work, except for any product I have with the name Nintendo on it.

Maybe I'm a little sad/depressed because I already miss the better half like mad, but things just didn't go how I wanted today. The drive up here was fairly quick feeling, probably because I zoned out, thinking about places I'd rather be. After a rather lengthy delay at the aeroport yesterday (plane didn't leave until 8pm, it was supposed to leave at 5:55), and watching a movie in the terminal on my laptop with some kids I didn't know (it was fun), I was greeted in Dayton around 10pm by my parents (my Dad with a bandage around his hand). Everything was fine and dandy until I walked in the door of my house and walked upstairs. Insta-bored is what I call it. Insta- bored to the point of all you can do is sit and think. At least I had Chief there with me, because my bed was super super crazy cold. It was at that point I realized what an emotional rollercoaster I just got off of. 12 days of crazy mad in love pure bliss, then BAM cold bed, no one to talk to, and no one to snuggle with, so I fell asleep last night using Chief as a pillow instead of Nagi's shoulder. Chief doesn't even compare, but it's better than nothing. Now I don't even have Chief with me, and it's twice as cold. Am I depressing? I think so...

Now that I've finished that tangent, or sap, on to the original point of my post. I have an Apple G4 Powerbook that turns on, looks like everything is fine and dandy, then after supposedly loading OS X. goes to the blue screen that's supposed to have a PA comic on it, and some icons, but I just get the blue screen and a mouse pointer that I can move. It happened after the battery (which is not a good one) completely died and the computer shut itself off. Immediately after it shut itself off, I plugged it in and turned it on, and this happened. I reinstalled OS X again from discs I purchased 10 days ago, and it's doing the same thing. It does pretty much everything but load OSX or something. I'm gonna leave it plugged in and turned off all night and see if that helps. I'm not all that concerned with losing anything on it, in fact, I'd rather have it wiped completely clean. I know very little about how Apples function. So any help is appreciated. Apple tech support doesn't open until 6am pacific, so uh, yeah.

Also configuring my desktop to the wireless card I put in it this afternoon is frustrating me, but if the laptop isn't working, it's not really as high on the priority list as it was around 5pm today, when Nagi was a jerk to me :p

And the whole Dad's hand in a bandage thing, is ummm....entertaining. Apparently Jan 1, he was doing the bakery run he does on the weekends to help a friend's business. To make a long story short, smashing your hand between two hydraulic lift gates isn't a good idea. he about chopped his index finger off and may have also damaged some nerves in his hand. It only took 5 stitches to close up his finger, I'm just glad I wasn't there, I don't deal so well with lots of blood coming out of people and fingers dangling by not much. There's a pretty mental picture to leave you with :p

Now that it's almost 2am, and I've taken YOU on a random rollercoaster ride of sorts, I'm gonna do the sleep thing, or attempt to, I'm not really all that tired....
