Paper Pushing

I finally got an email from the HR department of the school that wants to hire me. Here is the email...

"You have been recommended for the Choir Teacher postion at (Name of Middle School). Please let me know if you are interested. If so, before an offer can be extended, please submit the following items to your applicant file for review:

-Original transcripts with degree posted (check)
-Copy of license or letter of eligibility (quasi check, I have an Ohio license, I'm working on an Indiana one)
- Three supervisory level references (in progress)
-Copy of final/summative student teacher evaluation (I'm lucky as balls I didn't throw those away. I almost did.)
-Criminal Record check from each county in which you have lived for the past 3 years. (luckily I was never a "resident" of Wood county.)

Holy poo that's a lot of crap. From what I get of this, the principal told them "here is the person I want for the job that has the qualifications I'm looking for" and now it's up to HR to do the paperwork and find out if there's a reason (like a background check) that I shouldn't be hired.

Getting these recommendation letters is gonna blow monkey balls. I had to call my college advisor, whom I swore I would never talk to again. The letters are the only things holding me back. It would be awesome if I could move to Indy sometime around the first of the year. But I still don't know when the job starts. I'm hoping the first of the year, while I like 'Boro and all the people here, I want my own place with my own big person job in the same state, no wait, same CITY as the person I'm mad crazy in love with. I mean, we haven't lived in the same state for the past 6ish years. It's really starting to get to me.

There's the job update, I'm just waiting on recommendation letters, and we'll see what happens next.
