So I survived band camp. Quite possibly almost the easiest band camp I've worked. 8am-4pm. That's it. No turning the light of the semi on so we can stay out later. The whole show? 30 sets. That's usually the length of the opener. Of course when there are 25 kids in the band...
I'm still super busy. The director's baby is being delivered on Tuesday, so after that, it's all me for the next week or so. The first day of school quickly approaching. I'm trying to sleep in when I can. Next week is new faculty orientation, so I'll get an official school email address and stuff. After I sit through 2 days of meetings. We all love meetings from 8am-4pm. Only I hate them. A lot. Because a lot of it won't apply to me because I'm not going to be full time.
Wedding stuff is rolling along. I know a bunch of you have started reading this stupid blog to find out what's going on that way, because some of you find it humorous for some reason. I'm going to buy the dress tomorrow and book the reception tomorrow as well. Still left? Flowers, cake, invites, DJ, photographer, and some other petty stuff. Now that the reception is booked (less than a mile from the church) I can put this stuff on the back burner for awhile, which is good because it's getting kind of annoying, though it's starting to come together.
That's all. I'm tired. Stupid band camp...

Wow, how many band camps have you been to now?
Total? 4 times for Boro, 1 for Wauseon and the one this year. The only time I have done more than 1 at a time was last summer when I did Wauseon and Boro back to back.
Yes yes yes.... But can they play the theme to Family Guy?!
